in the game.  The kicking game was likely the  17 1ST DOWNS 9

very well, and their FG kicker hit all 4 tries, all 57 RUSH ATT 49
long.  The Pitt kicker missed 2 FGAs, both short, 242 RUSH YDS 186
and an extra point.  Pitt lacks the punch on offense, 4.2 RUSH AVG 3.8
but played such excellent defense.  Texas just had 12 PASS ATT 10
to play safe and kick well.  Pitt is terrible at fumbles 7 PASS COMP 2
and it cost them points.  Most of the Texas rushing 121 PASS YDS -6

Terrific game, all the way through.  It was obvious Ohio State Nebraska

were so many things like that in this game that all
went against the Buckeyes.  I envisioned Coach 
Hayes on the sidelines in a rant throwing his
hat all over the place and yelling at everyone.  It was great.
By the way, the Ohio State run defense played fantastic and
made stops all day long.  I cannot imagine what NU would
have done to an average team today.

Penn State is unique in that they have strong 58 PEN YDS 40
screen and dropback passes.  One drive for them 0 SACKED 1
conprised of 2 dropbacks totalling over 60 yds  0 YDS LOST -8
and getting 7 points.  Their screen pass was even 
a larger impact on the game.  It is one of the best
screen passes I have ever seen.  
I know that Penn State used their RBs a lot
when they threw and they were effective at it.  It probably
won them this game.
Both teams missed FGAs.
